The most disappointing one Daemons of Chaos 8th. While the fluff is good, it's not as good and the rules really drag the book down. I love them so much, but it's not a good book Stupid Matt Ward ruining 7th daemons by making them op. TW:W is based primarily in 8th Edition, but it uses many elements from previous versions as well.

What are the plans for the individual Chaos books? I hope that they will be a bit like the old chaos, in which chaos warriors, beastmen and demons of specific mark could all be used in one army. I've been going through the WoC material over the weekend, but unfortunately there's not really enough unique units for each of the gods to warrant them having their own books. As such, WoC will get one book with all units, and then an expansion for their additional special characters called Champions of Chaos. I'd like to avoid making another book that is just a repeat of previous books, but I might make a smaller army list later that is based on each god, allowing you to mix the 3 chaos books in one.

An Army Book in the Warhammer Fantasy tabletop wargame, is a rules supplement containing information concerning a particular army, environment, or worldwide campaign. Army Books for particular armies were introduced for the fourth edition of the game prior to that all armies were included in the main rulebook. The sixth edition rendered these obsolete. Until superseded by newer versions, the 6th edition and later books remain valid for the newer editions of Warhammer. Games Workshop has also released various expansions over the years, including a siege rules supplement and campaign expansions.
